Hi All,

Need help in masked text control

Masked text is accepting numbers or alphabets but not both. how to make that control to accept both alphabets and numbers.

we don’t have a specific format defined for the value i.e each position of the value may be number or alphabet it depends on user

EX:1)1A-B1-1A1B

2) A1-A2-A1B1.  it should satisfy both the value

Please suggest

Hi Haritha,

The Masked Text control currently allows only “a” for alpha characters and “#” for numeric characters.  I will discuss potentially providing “*” for any character in an upcoming release with our Development Team.
