Button width does not affect look when running

Hi,

 

This is using the 4.4.3 TRIAL version for BPM 8.5.7.0

When setting the width on buttons (either in the Appearance config or in the Positioning tab) the width does not affect the look of the button when running the page. However the width change is visible in the editor.

 

When looking on the generated HTML, the width is set on the button in the designer, but in the generated HTML when running the coach the width is set on the parent div instead.

Hi Mikael,

We have identified this issue as a bug in the dynamic styling for BPM version 857.  We are working to resolve this issue for the upcoming release.  Thank you for the feedback.

I noticed that Badge seems to have a similar problem. For Badge the size change does not affect the look in either the designer or the runtime window. But it seems that the div around the badge gets bigger 🙂

Hi Mikael,

Yes, the Badge control was another control that had very limited CSS in the actual control, and was not identified in the conversation to dynamic theming.  We are finalizing the October Release for today or tomorrow and will have fixes for these style implementations in version 4.4.4.  The full list of fixed controls will be contained in the Release Notes.
