The IBM Responsive coaches Datepicker has a “Blankout dates” configuration property. With this property dates that should not be selectable by hte user can be defined. I cannot find any such configuraion for the SPARK-UI datepicker.
Is there some way to get the corresponding functionality in the SPARK-UI toolkit for now.
If not, are there any plans to get it there 🙂

You are correct. The SPARK Date Picker control does not have a Blackout dates configuration option.
This would have to be a Feature Request. However, there are plans to rework the Date Picker into a Date Time Picker next quarter. At that point, we may decide to implement additional functionality.

We do have a Video demonstration on Blacking Out Dates. However, this is for blacking out a range of dates, and not individual dates.

We are planning on implementing blackout dates with the new Date Time Picker control which will most likely be release 2nd quarter of next year.
