"Events" missing under configuration tab with SPARK UI 4.5.0.1 EE

Hi,

I have upgraded to SPARK to 4.5.0.1 EE on top of BPM V8.5.7 (no fixpacks) and I am unable to see the “Events” under the configuration tab. Is this a known issue ? Can you help on how to resolve ? I tested in both chrome(58.x) & firefox (45.9.0)

Same problem for me. If I revert to an old version it all works again.

Hi Srikanth,

To restate, you are on BPM version 8.5.7 before CF 201703.

The link on our website states Showcase for BPM 8.5.7 CF201612 and prior.  This should provide you with a TWX file SPARK_Showcase-4.5.0.1-8570-CE or EE.

Can you verify that you have downloaded the one for 8570, and not the file labeled 8571?

Hi,

I got the following version info in the package.xml from the SPARK showcase app installed.

buildId=”BPM8570-20160301-140232″ buildVersion=”8.5.7″ buildDescription=”IBM Business Process Manager V8.5.7.0 – 20160301_1434 – BPM8570-20160301-140232″.

Also, I got the 4.5.01. CE installed and in that I could see the “Events” under configuration tab coming up fine. Seems to be an issue with 4.5.0.1 EE only. Let me know if you need any other information in getting this fixed. Thanks

Hi Srikanth,

I suspect that you have imported the correct version of the Showcase on top of the toolkit intended for CF201703.

There appears to be an issue with the underlying toolkit name and acronym being the same for both versions of the Showcase which will prevent importing the correct version of the toolkit if the same version number has already been imported.

I will discuss releasing a patch containing different toolkit acronyms with the Development Team.

Can you share an update on when the patch will be available ? We want to upgrade it to the latest one to avoid doing work-arounds with the current version we are using.

Hi Srikanth,

We have released SPARK UI version 4.5.0.2 as of May 4th, 2017.  This version will allow you to import both CF versions for 8.5.7 in the event that the incorrect TWX file has been imported into your environment.  For 8.5.7 base, be sure to import the file from the download asset labeled BPM 8.5.7 CF201612 and prior.
