Hello,
I am playing around with the new Content toolkit that has just come out. In the File Uploader, there is a formula configuration for the Document Title. I tried setting this but the value doesn’t seem to get used anywhere. Can you clarify what Document Title is used for? (It seems to be different than Document Name?)

Hi Stuart,
The Document Title is used to rename the Document you have uploaded. Make sure to set ‘Auto Upload’, associate the file with the respective process instance, refresh the list of Documents once the upload is complete (e.g. using something like ${BPM_File_List1}.refresh()), etc.

Hello Alex,
I completely agree that the youtube video show this working. However, when I run this (I tried both server side and client side services) the value that I put into the formula field does not appear in the File List coach view. I wracked my brain trying to figure out what was different between my BPM environment and the demo environment – it is BPM releases. I tried this again – on my BPM 8.5.6 image and it works just fine. On BPM 8.5.7, I can’t get it to work at all.

I have confirmed that the file name doesn’t get changed within 8.5.7 and this is a defect. We will make sure to our development team look at it and get it fixed in a future release. Thank you for finding it.
