    I would like to be able to set my SPARK table to scroll horizontally.

    There is not built in functionality for this yet.  However, horizontal table scrolling can be done by nesting the table inside a Horizontal Layout, setting the layout flow as “Horizontal Inline Scroll”. This makes the entire table scroll horizontally, including whatever header and footer might be displayed for the table.
