    HI All,

I would like to show my own icon to controls like button and well. As of now it allows me to select icons from fontawsome.io/icons. Adding icon file as web/server/design file and configuring the file name in control is not working. Can anyone help me how to achieve this.

    HI Pavan,

SPARK UI has been configured to look up icon names within a set version of the Font Awesome library.  Overriding this functionality to use your own icons would take quite a bit of effort to extend the toolkit.  This would not be a recommended solution, as any time the UI Toolkit is upgraded with an upgrade to BPM/BAW, your changes would be overwritten.

You may want to extend controls to make them part of a custom toolkit to make the changes manually, or use CSS to override the icons using HTML Attributes and more explicit CSS Selectors.

    Hi Stephen,

    I got your point.

Generally clients ask us to use their set of icons/images in UI. this is valid and simple ask from any client i would say.So controls also should be flexible enough to achieve this.

There is a requirement that i need to show client logo/icon on background of screen like how we can show bank icon using well control. how can we achieve this?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Pavan,

The ability to include custom icons is not currently a feature of the controls in the SPARK UI toolkit.  Salient Process is no longer developing enhancements for the UI Toolkit.  If you feel that this feature should be included in the UI Toolkit with a future release of BAW, please contact IBM to submit an Enhancement Request here: https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/submit-request-enhancement-rfe

If you are interested in a custom extension of the UI Toolkit on an Engagement basis, please contact our Sales Team.

    Regards,

    Stephen P.
