    Hi All,

I would like to upload a file with a upload property using “ECM File Uploader” CV. File is not getting uploaded. File is getting uploaded if no properties are added in configuration. Please find the attached screenshots. Kindly let me know how to achieve this. Thanks in advance.

    Version : BAW

    ECM : Default ECM

    Error: Upload failed. contact administrator.

Console error : /portal/jsp/ecmDocument?operation=ajax_createDocument 500 (Internal Server Error)

we can upload single document using “ECM Docuemnt List” with property configuration which is working fine. If the same behavior is available with “ECM File Uploader” it is easy to upload multiple file with multiple dynamic properties, later these files can be segregated based on based property and show to user.

Kindly let us know if this can be done.

    Thanks,

    Pavan

    Hi Pavan,

It appears that you are running into a document property constraint on the ECM server.  The upload property name needs to match a property that exists in your document class on the ECM server.  Otherwise it will fail.  It will also fail if the value is selected from a list of choices and the value you have chosen to upload does not exist in that list.

The ECM Document List on the other hand provides you with a list of properties that exist for that document class, and allows you to set them.

If you need more assistance on this issue and configuration, contact our Sales Team regarding an Engagement or ask about our Expert Services agreements.

    Regards,

    Stephen P.
