    Hello,

I have a couple of challenges with the PieChart control:

    1. I have set the Legend placement to something other than None and the legend is is very compressed. I have attached a screenshot to show what I mean. I get this issue regardless of whether I use the middle-right or bottom-center options. Is there some other configuration option that will fix this for me?
    2. I want to take some specific action when the user clicks on any section of the pie chart. I have read through the available methods and I can’t see one that returns the section of the pie that the user clicked on? I assume that there is such a method?

    Thanks

    Stuart Jones

    Stuart,

For your first question, this is something we are aware of, and is actually a bug with the library we are using for charts. Unfortunately, there is no way around this in the current version of SPARK, but we do know that the latest version of the library fixes this bug, and updating this library is on our current list of things to do. For the time being though, it is worth noting that this bug is specific to Firefox, so if possible I would recommend using a different browser (such as Chrome) to get around this issue.

For your second question, I believe this is possible, though I’m not completely sure how to go about doing this, just off the top of my head, so take that with a grain of salt. We will look into this though and will get back to you on it as soon as possible.

    Hi Stuart,

There is no configuration option or method at the moment that allows you to click on a specific section of the pie chart. The On Click event is invoked when the user clicks on any section of the pie.

    Best,
    Lisa L.
