    Hi,

I have requirement to use single select in a form and used SPARK UI Single select for same. The options in the select drop-down needs to be grouped by a category and it seems there is no provision for that in the SPARK UI Single Select. Please see the example below:

    Country-1
    City1
    City2
    City3
    Country-2
    City1
    City2
    City3
    Country-3
    City1
    City2
    City3

In this example user will be able to select only 1 city from the drop-down.

I was wondering if this can be achieved using SPARK UI or I have to build a custom coach view for same or if there is any alternative approach ?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello Navin,

This feature is not currently available with the Single Select control.  If you feel that this should be an included functionality out of the box, please submit an Enhancement request here as IBM now owns the SPARK UI Toolkit. (Currently included with BPM 8.5.7 CF201706 and higher)

If you have an urgent requirement for this functionality, please feel free to contact our Sales Team regarding an Engagement in developing a custom control or enhancing an existing one to fit your needs.

Also, please be advised that we do offer Expert Services on a monthly subscription basis for guidance in implementation and development.

    Regards,

    Thanks for your response.

I think for now we will separate it to 2 drop downs where selection in first can drive the available values in second drop down.
