Type Ahead Control

Hello,

 

we are using a Type Ahead Control from SPARK UI framework.

 

We have identifiede three major problems with the type ahead control:

• There is no indicator while the underlying service is invoked
• The service is triggered after each character, means by a single input after each character the service is invoked, however only one dropdown result is used for the input at the end. My proposition to define a delay before service is getting invoked
• Can you please consider to expose preInvoke and postInvoke events on a typeahead control?

Hello Nick,

The Type Ahead Text control does not currently provide the Events for On Service Invoked and/or On Service Results.  If you feel that this should be an included functionality out of the box, please submit an Enhancement request here as IBM now owns the SPARK UI Toolkit. (Currently included with BPM 8.5.7 CF201706 and higher)
