Type ahead overlay fails in table

Hello,

unfortunately the type ahead element inside of a table fails to overlay over the pageination bar. We will get a scroll bar then. Also we cannot click the suggestion but can select it by using the arrow key and pressing the enter button.

Hi Binary,

In newer versions of BPM UI and SPARK, we have implemented a Show Popups configuration option that will allow the content to extend beyond the div containing the Table.

I don’t think there is an option but the customer aksed, if it is possible to give a warning, if somebody is trying to select a suggestion by keyboard (only mouse click is possible).

Hi Binary,

This is not currently a feature of the Table control.  You may wish to submit a Request for Enhancement to IBM at https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rfe/

Otherwise, the control would need to be customized to capture key events to prevent navigation.

Sorry Stephen,

it is the other way round. You can only use the keyboard but not the mouse but I guess the answer remains the same?

Hi Binary,

Although the Table control places a div on top of the Table body to prevent mouse click when it is set to disabled, the underlying controls are still selectable with keyboard navigation.  The best recommendation is to change the visibility of the underlying controls to be Read Only when the Table is disabled.
