There is a validation error in Service Data Table. It seems to be :

BPMExt-Control-ServiceDataTable-Palette.png is unreachable: [paletteIcon:null].  Make sure it exists in the process application/toolkit. If it exists in another toolkit, ensure that the toolkit is included in the dependency.

This can be related to the error visible in the logs reported earlier.

Can you tell us what version of the Spark Toolkit you are using?  I see no such validation error.

    Thanks

Based on previous posts, I believe Todor is using 8.5.5 and SPARK 4.2.

    Hi,

    Brian  is correct.

    I have two installations:

    • personal local 8.5.5
    • Bpm on Cloud 8.5.6 used for a client project.

I first install third party toolkits on my 8.5.5 VM, after validation it is not breaking anything I install it on the customer environment.

The validation error is found in both environments with toolkit version: 4.2.0

    Hi Todor:

The issue you have found with the Showcase and the Service Data Table in V8.5.5 was due to a tagging error.  This error will be fixed in the next release.

For now you can apply the following “quick fix”.  The attached file is the missing graphic (BPMExt-Control-ServiceDataTable-Palette.png).

Manual steps to follow (which you probably know, but just in case)

    1. Add the file to the toolkit (may require you to mark the toolkit as “update-able”.
    2. Open the Service Data Table coach view and on the Overview tab select the file you just added.
    3. Take a snapshot.
    4. Update the dependency in the showcase (or any other app using the toolkit).
    5. You should be good to go.

I only see this error in my 855 environment, but this fix would apply to any environment that shows the same error.

    Regards

    John
