Value is displayed in Single Select Control

Hi, I expected “Name” is displayed in the single selected control but it is showing value.

In the attached picture, I expected “Normal, Asset, etc” are shown but I see values are displayed.

Am I doing anything wrong? Any additional configuration is needed?

Hi Yo,

When using the Items From a Static List, the ‘Value’ is used as the display value and the ‘Name’ is used as the value property (which will map to the object bound the the single select). I’ve attached a screenshot that shows a configuration that should get the results you want.

Also, something to keep in mind: the Data Mapping configuration only applies when the Item Lookup Mode is ‘Items from Service’. This configuration is helpful if your lookup service is a complex object and you want to specify which parameters are used as the display and the value property.
